Senior researcher Marianne Harbo Frederiksen

Marianne has an educational background in architecture with a specialisation in industrial design from Aarhus School of Architecture from 1995. Since then, she has worked with technology, product development and innovation in various industries and at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), from which she received her PhD in 2016 in innovation management.

She has been associated with SDU as a lecturer for almost twenty years at both the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Business & Social Sciences. She has extensive experience in teaching and supervising bachelor's, master's and PhD students. Today, she is also the Academic Director for Lifelong Learning at the Department of Business & Management at SDU and thus responsible for the development of, among other things, executive education.

Marianne's field of research is technology and innovation management, and her research has involved the project Health Drones for faster transport of medical equipment and biological samples. As a senior researcher at CIMT, Marianne is particularly focused on the management of digital transformation at Odense University Hospital.

Marianne is also a member of CIMT's Research Committee.
