Research afternoon a great success
It was a pure fireworks display of knowledge that played the main role at CIMT's research afternoon on 9 October. It was a day marked by health technology with exciting induction presentations from our two new adjunct professors, George Crooks and Lars Konge.
George Croooks spoke via video conference from Scotland about how digital health solutions can increase "patient empowerment". Lars Konge gave a presentation on simulators as a training tool for new surgeons.
In addition, innovation manager Tessa Lind Gjødesen reviewed the strategic focus on research in innovation, andHead of Research at CIMT Kristian Kidholm gave a presentation on the assessment of apps.
In addition, assistant professor Thomas Schmidt talked about a research-based design of a system for identifying high-risk patients in the emergency department, and Kristina Garne Holm talked about her research into home monitoring of premature babies.
The evening ended with a reception and networking for the many present.
