Anne Dichmann Sorknæs appointed Hero of the Danish Lung Association
Research nurse Anne Dichmann Sorknæs, who is employed by CIMT and OUH, has been appointed the Hero of the Danish Lung Association.
She has been granted the title due to her long-serving work with lung disordered patients, which she also has done researched on.
Since 1987, Anne Sorknæs has contributed to working with lung patients by means of research and the implementation of rehabilitation and telemedicine, in which she has been involved with the establishment of a telemedical network for both patients and professionals.
Currently, she is involved in the national distribution of telemedicine for patients with COPD and is a part of the presidency for the Danish registry of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
