Researcher from CIMT finalist in PhD Cup
Ellen Rabe Pedersen, who concluded her PhD in the fall if 2017, was one of the five finalists in PhD Cup 2018.
Ellen’s PhD concerned testings of speech intelligibility for clinical practice. The tests are used to test the hearing and uptake of speech. Ellen evaluated the tests, which has led to greater knowledge about the tests – knowledge, which may be used for better diagnostics, better treatment of hearing problems and to produce new and even better tests.
The winner of the PhD Cup was Doctor Anders Rehfeld for his research on chemicals’ impact on sperm cells’ sense of direction.
