United4Health
The requirements for the health sector are quickly changing, and because of this, there is a high demand for resource-saving initiatives, including telemedicine.

The project of United4Health builds on experiences and results from previous projects such as Renewing Health.
United4Health involved almost 12,000 patients from the participating regions in Europe.
AIM
The aim of the project was to increase the use of telemedicine in Europe by implementing solutions on a large scale and adapt the solutions to existing working procedures.
In addition, United4Health also focused on the assessment of telemedicine and was to ensure a high quality of the assessment of telemedicine across Europe.
RESULTS
MAST was used as the general model for the assessment of the telemedicine projects, and it ensured both quality and comparability of the assessments. Odense University Hospital had no clinical services in the project.
