The IT assistant is in action again
The IT assistant at Odense University Hospital and Svendborg Hospital has now reopened, after it has been closed since December 2020 due to covid-19.
With the IT assistant, patients and relatives can use the various health apps. The IT assistant started as an innovation project in 2019 and is now a permanent offer in Odense and Svendborg.
Volunteer coordinator at OUH Karina Andersen talks about a good experience with a patient who got help from the IT assistant:
"Today we helped an elderly woman who had been struggling to download the My Hospital app for a long time. She was very frustrated and also fatigued because of her illness. She was associated with a long-term treatment course at OUH and really wanted to use the app to keep track of appointments, various information, etc. It turned out that there were challenges with her Apple ID that blocked the proper use of the app. When we said goodbye to each other, she had a huge smile on her face, and she heartily exclaimed "if there was no covid, I would have hugged you!""

OPENING HOURS
The IT assistant in Odense is open every Monday-Friday at 9-12 am. at entrance 6.
The IT assistant in Svendborg is open every Monday at 10-12 am. in the Atrium.
An appointment is not necessary.
