CIMT launches new research strategy for 2021-2023

The research strategy has been drawn up by CIMT's Research Committee and constitutes a benchmark for research in CIMT in the coming years, but also a practical working tool that ensures that the research activities have the right focus and supports the strategic goals for the entire OUH.

The new research strategy has a particular focus on the following research areas:

  • Cross-sectoral CIMT, which implies that the research goes across sectors, faculties and research areas
  • Innovative research methods with a particular focus on the development of new research methods adapted to rapidly changing technologies
  • Research for and with patients and relatives, where we continue to involve patients and relatives in the development of new technology and as co-researchers in new projects
  • Innovative visibility, which emphasises increasing awareness of CIMT in OUH's clinical departments

Head of Research at CIMT and innovation professor Kristian Kidholm says of the new strategy: "We face many exciting opportunities and challenges with digitalisation of the healthcare system, especially in connection with the move to New OUH. With the research strategy behind us, we ensure that we keep the right direction and can prioritise among the many options".
