App to help patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease
A further development of the app My Hospital is to help patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease to communicate with the staff at the Department of Gastroenterology at OUH.
In this way, patients will be able to get into contact with the staff when the need arises – and they avoid having to wait in long telephone queues. At the same time, the staff will be able to tailor the treatment to the specific patient, because they will receive information about the course of the patient before the patient’s arrival at the hospital.
The project is being funded by the Danish foundation TrygFonden, who has donated DKK1.000.000 to further develop My Hospital. CIMT contributes research for and assessment of the project, but the daily operations of the project are being carried out by project manager Marie-Louise Krogh from the Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacology in collaboration with the Department of Gastroenterology at OUH.
