CIMT Academy: Projects in light of corona

The last CIMT Academy in 2020 will be held on 1 December 2020 at 1 p.m. - 2.15 p.m. The theme this time is projects arising in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, and in line with the theme, the Academy is being held virtually.

This time, the Academy consists of three 15-minute presentations, after which there is time for comments and questions.

The presenters are:

  • Knud Yderstræde, senior physician, clinical associate professor, PhD, Department of Endocrinology OUH, SDU and Steno Diabetes Centre in Odense.
    Knud presents the project "PRESORT - Cost-efficient pre-screening system for virus infections", where he, in collaboration with DTU and the company ATE, is developing a new platform for rapid screening of virus infections.
  • Mette Maria Skjøth, project manager, PhD, CIMT.
    Mette Maria talks about the research project, "Psychosocial consequences in nurses and midwives in connection with COVID-19". The project is carried out in collaboration with Deakin University in Australia, where a questionnaire has been sent to the 3,000 nurses and midwives who work at Western Health (AU). The project has been developed in close collaboration with Mette Juel Rothmann, Clinical Nursing Researcher, Associate Professor, PhD, Department of Endocrinology, Department of Rheumatology and Steno Diabetes Centre in Odense.
  • Maja Kjær Rasmussen, project manager at CIMT and Innovation, Research & HTA at OUH.
    Maja will talk about the project "Influenz-er", which the research unit in CIMT is doing in collaboration with Nordsjællands Hospital and Nordic Healthlab. The project will develop a system of virtual admissions and telemedicine for handling COVID-19 and future pandemics.
