CIMT at the E-Health Observatory 2019

Once again, CIMT is well represented at the E-Health Observatory 2019, which will be held in Nyborg on 9-10 October 2019.

The theme of this year's conference is: How can healthcare become more citizen-driven?

For a parallel session on data security, senior researcher in CIMT Thomas Schmidt gives a presentation on "Cybersecurity in the clinic - resistance and success", and for a parallel session on the active patient/citizen, senior researcher in CIMT Knud Yderstræde gives a presentation on "Diabetic foot ulcers - the citizen's own photo recordings disseminated to a web-based wound database”. At the same session, you can also meet Carl Brandt, former PhD at CIMT, giving a presentation on "Individualised lifestyle intervention for diabetics in collaboration between general practice, municipalities and Steno Diabetes Centre".

In addition, Professor Karen Andersen-Ranberg gives a presentation on the "GERI Toolbox project: an IT-supported cross-sector project for the prevention of acute hospitalisations of older citizens" in the parallel session on citizen-based e-health, and project manager Anne Bøgegaard from OUH takes part in the e-Health battle with the project "The IT assistant - Help for patients and relatives with digital health solutions at Odense University Hospital".
