CIMT is Denmark's largest unit for research in telemedicine and eHealth.
The researchers in CIMT cover a wide range of research areas within health technology. The researchers come from many different fields, and the PhD students count doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, engineers and economists.
Kristian Kidholm is Professor of Innovation at the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Odense University Hospital (OUH) and one of the Nordics' leading experts in assessment of the value of health technology.
CIMT has a research committee which makes decisions on the research unit’s strategic aims and is responsible for putting the research strategy into practice.

A large number of PhDs are associated with the Centre for Innovative Medical Technology (CIMT). The PhDs have many different educational backgrounds and conduct research in a wide range of areas within health technology.
