CIMT researcher appointed professor

Head of Clinical Research at CIMT, Jane Clemensen, who has a background as a nurse, has been appointed professor at the Hans Christian Andersen Hospital for Children and Adolescents at Odense University Hospital (OUH).

Jane has more than 14 years of experience with telemedicine and has a particular focus on involving the users in her research using the research design Participatory Design. At the children's hospital, Jane continues her work with Participatory Design and is looking forward to working with it "at a child's level". However, the children's hospital is not entirely new to Jane, as she has been a supervisor on Kristina Garne Holm's PhD project on earlier discharge of premature children.

Jane is the first professor with a nursing background to be employed at OUH. The professorship lasts five years.

Jane will still be connected to CIMT and her research group at SDU. She continues as supervisor for her six PhD students and will continue to be associated with CIMT as Head of Clinical Research.
