New joint research strategy for CIMT, CAI-X and CCR
On behalf of the three research centres CIMT, CAI-X and CCR, we can announce the publication of the joint research strategy 2025-2027.
“SDU and OUH's joint research centres CIMT, CAI-X and CCR together constitute Denmark's largest research unit within digital health technologies. To ensure the right direction for our overall research efforts in the coming years, we have therefore prepared a joint research strategy," says the Head of Research at CIMT, Kristian Kidholm.
Together, CIMT, CAI-X and CCR comprise more than 25 professors and associate professors, as well as over 30 affiliated PhD students at SDU. The centres publish more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications annually.
"The starting point of the strategy is that we, as a central Danish research unit, must support the technological changes in the healthcare system, and at the same time must prepare the research unit's inclusion in the newly established MedTech Odense initiative between the hospital, university and other key stakeholders in Odense," continues Kristian.
