Turkish visit to CIMT
CIMT recently had a visit from Turkish PhD student Vesile Kocak from Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya, Turkey.
Vesile visited CIMT to hear about our experiences with apps and the development of apps for the health sector. She wants to develop an app for new mothers to ensure peace of mind and minimise anxiety and depression. Senior researcher in CIMT Dorthe Boe Danbjørg hosted the visit and shared experiences from her own PhD, where the app My Hospital was developed for exactly new mothers.
Vesile achieved a lot on her visit. She met with both post doc Kristina Garne Holm and PhD students Charlotte Nielsen and Bettina Trettin from CIMT to learn from their experiences with app development and user participation in the development process.
She also met innovation consultant Marie Louise Krogh to hear about the penetration of My Hospital, and she visited innovation nurse Marie Monberg Feenstra from the postnatal ward to hear how they use My Hospital for the new mothers today.
