New report on PRO for endometriosis
A new report from the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Odense University Hospital (OUH) describes the department’s experiences with collecting Patient Reported Information (PRO) via the My Hospital app from patients with endometriosis.
They have used PRO for preadmission assessment and as a basis for conversations with the patients, thereby ensuring that patients are always seen by the right professional and receive the right treatment offer based on their current symptoms and needs.
The report “Preadmission assessment using Patient Reported Information among women with endometriosis” was prepared by PhD student Maria Monberg Feenstra and Professor Martin Rudnicki from the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at OUH.
The report is aimed at others who want knowledge of how PRO can be used for preadmission assessment and dialogue support in clinical practice, as well as how development and implementation can be approached.
