Conference on the digital healthcare system

If you are interested in the development of digital health technology and curious about which technologies we will encounter in the healthcare system in the future, then mark September 22, 2021 in your calendar.

CIMT is holding the conference "Digital transformation of the healthcare system - a balance between technology's possibilities and patients' wishes" on the development of digital technologies and their use in the Danish healthcare system.

At the conference, we will hear about the development through presentations from researchers from both general practice, hospital and psychiatry. And patient representatives play a central role in the final debate on how we strike a good balance between digital offers for those who can and want to - and access to high-quality treatment for those citizens who are not "digital".

Denmark is an international leader when it comes to the use of digital health technologies, e.g. video consultations, mobile apps for treatment procedures and home monitoring using digital measuring equipment. The technological solutions are developing rapidly, and the corona pandemic in particular has spurred the use and development of digital and virtual health services for patients.

During the first part of the conference, this development will be explored through lectures and presentations from healthcare researchers from hospitals and psychiatry, who will present examples of some of the new technologies we will see in healthcare within the next few years. The conference is rounded off with a panel debate with patient representatives, researchers and politicians, who discuss the digital healthcare of the future and especially the balance between digital offers for those who can and want to use the offers, and those who do not have the opportunity or desire to do so.

The conference is part of WHINN – Week of Health and Innovation, so registering for the conference also gives access to other events about the future of healthcare as well as the common exhibition area.

Registration takes place via WHINN's website - select Wednesday and "Digital Transformation of the Health Service".
