Inaugural seminar for CIMT’s new professor of innovation

CIMT, friends, family and collaborators have given a warm welcome to our new professor of innovation Kristian Kidholm.

In his usual amusing manner, Professor Kidholm told the audience about his great experience with health technology assessment and the importance of evaluation. With the inaugural seminar, he guided the audience through both disappointments and successes of telemedicine, and both the Danish queen and singer Anne Dorte Michelsen played a part.

To supplement his presentation, Kidholm invited phD students Bettina Trettin and Amalie Søgaard Nielsen to present their research into creating value in outpatient consultations for patients with psoriasis and which patients turn down home monitoring with digital questionnaires. In addition, Professor Anthony Smith contributed through a short video presentation.

With the official accession, Kidholm can now address the many tasks in the cross field between research and innovation.
