Mette Maria is project manager at CIMT, and she works with project management, coordination, strategic planning and the implementation of national and international research and development projects within the field of eHealth. Among other things, she is responsible for research in the EU project ImpleMentAll.
Mette Maria’s projects often result in international collaborations, and she has obtained a wide international network within eHealth, management and research along with a close collaboration with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Her research mainly focuses on initiatives that ensure coherent patient pathways, a higher quality of care and treatment, a better experience for patients and relatives and optimisation of work flows. With her background in nursing, Mette Maria has a great insight in the everyday life of the clinical staff.
Mette Maria is the initiator of InnoEvent, which is an annual event where students compete to develop innovative solutions for the health sector. InnoEvent takes place in collaboration with Lillebaelt Academy, University College Lillebaelt and the University of Southern Denmark. She is also one of the persons behind the CIMT Academy, which is our interdisciplinary network for disseminating eHealth solutions, research and development.
