CIMT had a visit from Australia

CIMT has had a visit by Rebecca Bartel, who is the Executive Lead for Healthcare Transformation at Deakin University in Australia. Rebecca is in the process of building her institute up and was interested in hearing about our experiences.

Rebecca encountered different researchers and innovation consultants from CIMT.  Kristian Kidholm, Health Scientific Head of Research at CIMT, and Jane Clemensen, Clinical Head of Research at CIMT, spoke respectively about strategic work and about user involvement in health research, and innovation consultant Emilie Nielsen spoke about OUH’s position in relation to international collaborations. Finally, Rebecca spoke to innovation consultant Marie-Louise Krogh about the distribution of the app My Hospital.

Rebecca is collaborating with Senior Researcher Dorthe Boe Danbjørg about the project Death over Dinner, which is to be put in operation at the Department of Haematology soon. The aim of the project is to force the staff to talk about death with their close co-workers, which makes them able to assist the patients and their relatives in talking about death.
